Logged as a run ‘cos Fetch shows more details for runs than walks- will change it later as there was very little running at all!
Playing with trekking poles, can get the flip both forwards and 3 steps pulling self up thing, flats and downhills not so easy. Very good for extra points of conact for steps too big for my little legs and for crossing the beck at the bottom.

That's a grand run! The route up from Wythburn is probably my favourite way up Helvellyn.
Didn’t think I needed to do Helvellyn again, but its a short staicase up to Nethermost
Great hike..well done. Did we pass each other? I was on Helvellyn around 11.30 ish ..but came up from Glenridding. How annoying...we could have met up. 😀
I didn’t go up to Helvellyn I’ve been up at least 3 ways and decided I didn’t need a 4th today.
