I do like that route! Over the fields, not too much hill, across the road and railway briefly, then back to a path, woods and back through the houses. Just the right distance. And the sheep weren't in the field so I wasn't disturbing anyone/thing.

Canoe has arrived! Hou Prospector 15.5 - only 32kg, forgotten how light. MrsS(rrr) and I will be trying it out on local loch tomorrow. Yay! (To see how local, just zoom out slightly on Fetch map and drag it down a bit, it's Lochore Meadows country park, the bit of blue just above and slight right!) :-) G
