Today I was supposed to run the LRRL Virtual 6 mile Race. Wanted to try and maintain around sub 8:30 pace but after 3 miles just blew up so kept as parkrun. Will try again tomorrow but start slower! LRVPR #13 and solo parkrun #18

The problem was I just couldn't maintain the pace and wimped. The perils of a solo virtual race lol.

I recommend pinning a number to your front with four safety pins. You'll look a proper twit but it'll make you run faster for the required distance.

One of our local fast lasses did get a 5k PB at Workington parkrun by pinning her barcode on to her vest with four safety pins.
