Eddie said: Hilly run 90 -2hrs. If you go to the NDW make it worth your while and do 2000ft
Was a bit nervous making what is, essentially, a non-essential journey but am so glad I did. Blissful. Saw bunnies and deer and trees. So many trees. Didn't plan a route. Just ran up any paths that went up (often coming back down and running up them again) or taking random paths that went steep down in order to run back up them again. Hiked when I needed to. Hit 2000ft at 1hr 40mins so the rest of the run was gravy. Ran down one steep path then half way back up I realised Garmin was on pause from where I had stepped aside to socially distance so I went back down to the spot and ran up it again Felt good. Lots of energy. So happy to be out there.

That looks a lovely route x
*waves* I nearly bumped into you this morning
*awaits notes*
I did look out for you, Dave
Sounds like essential travel to me, you needed that
If you had carried down to the bottom of the bit where you stopped your watch, you can head back up the original pilgrims way up to the NDW/ Dave steps. There is a 20% gradient hill you might have seen mentioned in my blogs
Yes, I was originally aiming for that, then thought I might run out of time so headed back up the way I had come down. Next time
I love the bit you did twice at mile 3 and 8. Definitely a summer rather than winter trail
