Notes & Comments

5pm run instead of lunch time. Nice way to start weekend. Weather fine, threatening thunder and rain but only a few spots. Nice and warm. Very slow, clearly! Got me up from 49-79 down to 74-64 up. Out of grid Sat, so might get one more in on Sunday early, but if ishep has more flexibility he'll be able to choose a route to win on Sun or Mon. Matters not. All good fun. After this and katypie's run I've roughly calculated 40 miles for team No Clucks Given to clock up the 185 (i.e. runner 95 plus 2 support runners 45 each). So 13.3 x 3 on Sat required. Again, all just a bit of a laugh to keep some motivation for running. Nice vid call with son, gf and grandson on Fri night too and a visit to mother to sit in garden with a table and a wee picnic. Unfortunately dog went for the neighbour's dog. Ours got a couple scratches. Hope other dog is OK. Any hoo, all fun in the sun! :-) G
