Parker novice?
John L Parker Junior, author of Heart Rate Training for the Compleat (sic) Idiot. He has 12 week programmes for four levels. Back when I set my PBs I did the advanced one, now it's novice for me.
Presumably the spelling is an homage to Isaac Walton. I seem to recall the book was v popular but out of print when I first joined Fetch?
Yes, it used to change hands for ridiculous amounts of money. My own copy is a US import.
Cheapest on Amazon is £24.21 plus delivery. And that’s used.
