With my local parkrun, Springburn being cancelled as a precautionary measure due to the Coronavirus, I decided to go to the next relatively local parkrun, Ruchill which was still on. Instead of a 2 mile hilly warm up jog to Springburn, I had to jog a hilly 3 mile warm up jog instead.

Ruchill Park, just like sister Springburn Park are among the highest points in the city of Glasgow, in away acting as their own summit. So to get to either of them by foot involves a lot of ascending hills, particularly the last ½ mile en route to Ruchill Park, which is a particularly stiff climb.

Anyway my warm up jog from home lasted 29:30 minutes, easy pace. Conditions ok.
