To St. Ives.
Left home about 15 minutes earlier than usual to try and beat the arrival of Storm Dennis. Mostly successful - initially the wind was about 20-25mph but it gradually strengthened so by the time I headed home it was about 30-35mph, and forecast to be 50-55mph later!
Made it! It was hard work though

From St. Ives with shopping, heading home against the wind

Busway still flooded (not surprisingly after last weekend's Storm Ciara) so again I had to go along the rough roads of the Nature Reserve - directly against the wind!

Rough, windy and hard going but you did it.
Yes, although I wonder about myself at times like this !
In my defence though, even I wouldn't have gone if the wind had been as strong as it has now become, so perhaps there is some hope for me yet!
