From home via footpath & up track to trotting track, then 4 laps of t.t. then back down track to road, then round Tairgwaith & home; felt relaxed; no back problems today; felt fine.

Is that trotting track for horses? Do their hooves churn up the ground?
We haven't seen it being used very often, and especially at this time of year. It's a gravel surface, and it was a little uneven in places, but it was OK.
Hereford parkrun is run on a racecourse. I did it once, never again. Completely exposed to the weather, and ground all lumps and bumps.
