Brynamman Parkrun; did 1st half at almost max effort in pace of 5:15/km; then just tried to hang in for the uphill half; quite pleased with result but need to run more strongly on uphill.

Plenty of hills in Wales for practising on!
Yes, Columba. We can't even go out of the door without a hill. Our garden slopes in 2 directions. Hills have already helped me build up strength.
When you're used to hills, it's very satisfying to overtake people who have given up on an upslope and are walking. I live on a hill, too. Near the top.
A great time for a hilly Parkrun.
