PP W11D2. TT (also bringing distance up to 8000m). SB but this was horrible. Splits suggest it was a fairly even effort but technique felt ragged and stroke length dipped from about 4000m and I was ready for the bucket in the final 2-3 minutes. Things to think about:
1. Don't attempt a TT when I'm tired and still recovering from a bout of arrhythmia.
2. Pacing: I wanted a SB (or even PB) but got "greedy" in the first few minutes when I saw I was going out at the pace of my previous SB. I should have backed off and left myself a bit more for the final 1500m or so.
3. Listen to a podcast/audio book rather than music on TTs, so I don't get drawn into the rhythm of the music!
