An easy paced run from home along main road to GCG, Lwr. Brynaman, up the hill and just before the Common at Rhosaman, then return; I felt quite good, with some moderate back pain.

Any idea why the back pain? You've mentioned it before.
I've had problems from time to time since suffering 2 prolapsed discs 15 years ago. As a result I have a bit of a stoop. When running I try to run tall, and so often my body is not relaxed enough, and my shoulders rise up. I just have to work on my posture, especially on long runs. But I'm still glad to be able to get out and run in my mid 70s! You do pretty well yourself.
I have to keep reminding myself about my posture too. But that's a life-long thing.
