This is the first training run I have logged on here for some time. I hope I'll find the time to go back and fill in the gaps, since before my marathon! Today it was like a switch flipped, and I felt ready to start training properly again. Really enjoyed this 8 mile run and the weather was perfect. I was warned in advance about a swarm of wasps up ahead on the busway, and sure enough I encountered them at about 3.4 miles... didn't fancy trying to run through those at all (especially wearing my lime green shirt!) so I hastily turned around, and did a bit of a loop back to make up the distance (although they seemed to have gone the second time). Another run planned for tomorrow on my day off, with some intervals included. Unsure how to classify 8 miles these days... used to be medium long, but doesn't really feel it anymore! All 3:3 breathing which felt very comfortable. 175 spm.
