Great Barton
It was wet and horrible this morning, but the afternoon eventually turned out nice, so I dragged myself out.
In an attempt to grab a few more squares in FetchEveryone's "Who Squares Wins" game (no, really), I devised a convoluted route that had a few loops not too far away from base. On my way round, I found a footpath that wasn't on the map, and managed to add another bit, though that probably didn't add any squares.
Apart from an initial stretch along a (not too busy) B road, and crossing the A143, it was all on minor roads or paths, and mostly traffic-free. The countryside round about is scenic, if tending to the flattish.
The sun was out and it actually got quite warm, which was nice compared to the last few days, which have included hail and even something that looked very like slushy snow.
The legs really don't have their heart in it, but it was good to get out.
