Hmmm. Supposed to be 8M with 10 x 100m strides.
Had a bit of a run-in with a horse that wasn't keen on letting me cross his field. A shame, because I was starting to run quite nicely by that point. Had to double-back and try and find another way through. No dice. Headed back to Rothwell, but remembered that I'd promised to check out the roadwaords in Desborough for The Girl, so I wandered back over the fields to have a look. (Still there.)
In all the excitement, I forgot about the strides. I think I managed about 6 reps - and even they might not have been 100m
Nice run though - sun was out, to offset the cold breeze - at a good enough pace. Certainly until I met the grumpy horse. Last three miles were at a pretty decent pace too.
Shame about the horses.
