ugh, that felt so much harder than it should have done. Too many extra walk breaks, especially in last couple of miles.
Realised that going for 12 was silly, anything over 10 was a bonus today- and turned round in Hatch -
New to me path "diversion trail" over the RSPB Heath was nice - especially as it cut out some of the undulations
Youngest managed to take ALL of the softflasks and water bottles away with him - stopped in town to buy bottle of water and emergency pack of Starburst ~halfway. Which meant I was then carrying an annoying bottle in my hand for the second half.
Despite braving random bits of Sandy still missed some of the WSW squares I was aiming for
