Mods vs Rockers Marathon (Betteshanger Park): 4:01:34 Pos: 23/110

Not a great day. The weather was shocking (-6 degrees wind chill and 25mph wind). The course was tough (13 clockwise laps with a long steep drag up on each lap into the headwind, but not the same sudden drop on the way back; it was a more gradual drop).

I wasn't on form today, and when the above is all thrown in and the 0.4m extra distance, I should probably be satisfied with this performance. But I'm not. It feels like a wasted race performance.

Was really knackered late on with a general feeling of being very drained.

Lesson learned: treat SVN events as training runs in future.
