THE MILE RACE, and all the training paid off. 
Tactically, I was inept... but I pulled it out of the bag in the last lap. Ran 76, 75, 76 and 71, and so crept under 5 minutes by a whisker. A fabulous day, meeting so many Fetchies and getting my sub five. Blister beat me though, but I'll get him next time.
