Notes & Comments

A bit more exploring round the new place. Found the route over the motorway for pedestrians! 1.5 miles round side of Hill of Beath, then back up to Cuddyhouse Road on what I think might have been the road before the motorway. Across then down a farm track or edge of stubble field towards Loch Fitty. Then a right and left or left and right to get over the B road. Only c. 400m but annoying. Nice trail round Loch Fitty or Loch View stables then into what Ithought was quarry, but turns out to be long since disused so nicely overgrown and green. A few getting losts in there, but eventually popped out at Blairadam forest by Baxters. But that was 6 miles so decided to head back. I've got the route round Hill of Beath sussed. Unfortunately not horseable for MrsS(rrr) cos a couple gates or fences to cross. Fun for me though. Then a drive around my environs to suss the area. Really didn't think any of the Kinross hotels or pubs and restaurants looked much cop. Hmmm. But the turn off to Lochore was only 3 miles in car coming back through Kelty. And it's got a pavement. Might be a winner. :-) G
