Notes & Comments

A wee lunch time run with Danny and Gillian. Felt reasonably fresh after a day off. Couldn't give blood Thu. Tried to get appointment for 2 weeks on a Thu evening but no joy. No cancellation available. Thought I'd just drop in but when I got there some kind of student group were all waiting. I am Hussain - maybe a muslim give blood campaign. All in support but annoying that I couldn't get in. So, having paid for my parking and as traffic would be busy anyway I decided to stay in town for a bit. Lovely to walk round Quarter Mile, all done with shops, bars and restaurants, looks great. Then Bristo Square and trying to find a cafe or somewhere to eat. Went Falafel bar. Perfect. Then home. 40 mins? Bril. :-) G
