Kimbolton half marathon
I was a little nervous of this given that I really struggled with this run when I last did it. Plus, still struggling to run when it's warm.
But had great company and support from Jinksy yet again and managed to run the entire race without stopping.
Ok, not a great time but non-stop in the heat and with some hills - given how this years been going I've got to be happy with that.
Interesting mile marking meant we were 0.3 miles ahead of my watch by 12 miles which was miraculously made up in 'mile' 13, making it the longest mile ever and slightly dispiriting when you had to run through the car park and round the castle to make up the distance.
Still, job done and it is a lovely route.
