St Ives 10K - really loved this one this year! Still very warm, but the sun wasn't actually shining, and also muggy and windy as ever on the aerodrome. But feeling strong this year and really pleased with my result. My 5th run of the week too. Course officially described as 'undulating' by the commentator - I'd forgotten this, but yes, apart from the aerodrome bit, it is! Amazing how differently I feel about my running from just one week ago, when I didn't even participate in the Fen Gallop I'd entered. This seems a shame now, but it felt like the right decision on the day. St Ives 10K Has to be one of the best value 10Ks around too - £12 including chip timing with instant results, a nice medal and a sports bag, plus drinks and cereal bars at the end. 177 spm.
