Sale 5 Mile Race: Sunny and very windy day; new sunglasses tried out; initial problems with music and shoelaces; nice crowd support; started on a track, moving into a lovely park; very fast runners, lost sight of them after seconds (lol); sipped GO throughout; beaten by runner ahead by a second due to misunderstanding where the finish was (lol); pleased with time and enduring some pretty tough moments; enjoyable day.
