Great Eastern Run for the first time. I paced Chris around for a 5 minute PB. He had run the race twice - 2.01 and 2.06, so it was nice to get him under 2 hours. He ran a really good race and paced himself well. He kept wanting to go faster, but I managed to rein him in and he held it together well in the last few miles as he tired.
I felt good, but a few aches and pains. Right shin, right hamstring and left hip were all playing up a bit, but nothing serious. I will find out about the London Marathon over the next week and then I can make a decision from there about my training.

Your last 3 miles splits show you paced him right. He obviously didn't have anything more to give. Well done to you both, hope you get good news for London.
