Kinloss to Lossie HM. Was not sure what to expect due to having the cold all week and thought I had gone off too fast when I started to tire on the stright before Burghead. Got my second wind on the long straight along the coast and found a good rythmn. Breathing heavy due to nose being blocked but felt strong. Thought I was in for a top 10 finish until 3 Dundee Hawkhill boys went storming passed in the last mile. Nevertheless happy with run on the new UKA measured course. Did not realise I was 8 secs outside my PB until I had finished! Conditions were favourable with a good westerly breeze on my back for the majority of the race. Completely drained now. Good to be racing on concrete again 2nd MV40 due to Dash and Paul picking up 2nd and 3rd respectively in the overall category.
