STK10 2015

My 4th running of this event and my first time not going flat out. After last year's 65:50 I was going to need to be 100% fit to go better than that. Having only been back in full training for a few weeks that was never going to happen.

Set off slow and was chatting to Vicky Hamilton until about 3k when I started to push on but found it hard work to get past people with the narrow sections on road and middy conditions off road.

Managed to really put my foot down for the final mile (after a NZ Road PB) where there was plenty of room and was flat. Nobody was getting near me on the track :)

All in all a good day at the office and sets me up nicely for marathon training, starting tomorrow!
