London Marathon
Oh boy. What an amazing race. I totally under-estimated the effect the crowds would have on me. As a result I found myself at half-way nearly 3 minutes ahead of plan. This naturally led to a terrible negative split and me getting no where the 2:45 I'd planned on running. I also needed a pee stop between 27km and 28km - the first time I've ever needed this. I put this down to entering the pen 45 mins ahead of the race starting.
That said, I still managed a 16 second PB for the marathon and had an absolutely amazing time. I'll definitely be back, though maybe not next year.
