Reading Half Marathon attempt number 4. As you can see, the wheels came off around 7 miles in - run/walked for a while and then power walked to the end. It was quite a warm day, and the hills just got me this time. Too much too soon. No more half marathons for me, my body really doesn't want me to do it! I had pain everywhere - toes, knee, hip, shoulders, ribs.... Also, my hands had swollen up like balloons and I had a stitch from mile 3. Really disappointed with that, and I actually cried as I walked past the Spire hospital, and also sobbed like a baby at the end.
