Fleet Half-Marathon
The plan for this race was to see if I could dip under 80mins thus putting me in a good place for London with 5 weeks to go. I paced things pretty well though I think I may have been caught out by a few little hills here and there as running like a man being chased by a bear over the last 800m wasn't enough to dip under 80mins. I came up 5 seconds short by chip time.
I still think I'm on target for London so nothing to worry about... it would have been nice to dip under this early in the season.
A great well organised race with a nice rolling course. Great weather too. I'm not too keen on the water sachets they trialled, though they're definitely better than cups.
