National XC's at Falkirk.
Mud glorious mud...or not so glorious for me.
More proof that I can't run in the mud, really struggled to get into any rhythm and feet seemed to be taking me more to the side than forward. Fell at the back hill on the way down, and going up the small hill at the back kept sliding down the camber. Really disappointed and need to consider whether to do XC season next year

XC is hard at the best of times. Yesterday's conditions were horrendous and suited pig farmers better. The positives is that you finished and didn't pull out and you were 36 position in your age group. Well done DM
Well done Derek. You finished and that's what counts mate. You are going to get the benefits out of this race for next few weeks mate. Well done again matey
Cheers for the comments guys. I am sure when xc comes around again i will be on the starting line.
