Not expecting to beat my Balloch time from a couple of weeks ago but eventually came quite close to it over what seemed to be a far harder course. A couple of killer climbs towards the end, would have been useful to have been given the profile of the course in the race information. Lovely scenery throughout but the miles somehow seemed to drag by up till mile 10 when the light appeared at the end of the tunnel and I managed to pick up the pace. Good sprint finish which made me up a few extra places so was able to slip inside the top 100. Good race overall but would approach it differently next time knwoing the profile. Not a PB but I'd judge it as a better performance than Balloch. Made a huge mistake of using a fabric-backed plaster on one of my toes and ended up with horrific skin removal of the adjacent toes, not going to make that mistake again!
