Ryton 5.
A mess up with the watch as it froze on the start line and the sorted itself out just after the start. Will adjust with the results. (Adjusted to 33:29)... Watch mess up )
Anyhow. First race with the club. It was hot and humid but not sunny. Mouth went dry very quickly. Pleased to see the splits for the latest miles as it indiates that speed has improved since the two castles after a few weeks of consistent 40 miles a week training.
Need to lose weight now to help further ! ( lost a coupel of pounds since holiday already )
First mile was slower as I started near the back of the feild and it was a bit of a bundle. Must have lost 20-30 secs in that first mile with weaving, being cut up and being stuck behind folk.
Nice course- very enjoyable all in all. A step forward on the comeback trail

just checked my stats...really good pace
Great running, well done better pacing than me - there must be some middle ground there for both of us! Your time was easily sub-34 as mine was 33:59 x
Tks Clare. I agree, at the very least it 5 miles at tempo pace that will help in the autumn marathons
Well done AGF... and nice not to be chicked
I have a strong feeling that will happen next time Nelly…..
