Felt good for this race, but boy was it hot and incredibly humid. I took things easy at the start with the intention of running a negative split. In the end I ended up running a pretty consistent race with a slight positive split of 19:57 and 20:36.

Taking the first half a lot slower than last time certainly allowed me to keep up a more consistent pace towards the end of the race, but I think the humidity may have taken its toll more than I expected and I think I probably should have taken the first half a little quicker. I forgot there is a sneaky hill at the end of this race.

Overall a good race once again.

Zehnderboy Warm race, still not 100% - Race well organised and marshalled but the start and finish funnells are very tight - get into the starting pens early would be my advice. Eastbourne Rovers 43:42 45:09 47:30 48:07 57.39
