Forest Runner Ran this at marathon pace instead of racing it. Felt very comfortable as it should have done. Even the long drag at the end seemed easy at that pace. Bracknell Forest Runners 1:30:50 1:37:50 1:46:00 61.30
GD Given the unusually perfect running conditions, was hoping for a course best, but am happy to settle for 1:40.00 (my 2nd best Wycombe time!) And it's the best time I've managed this year, so can't really complain. Shouldn't have done a hard training run on Friday night - my thighs just didn't seem to be able to respond today. Jonny Terrible run. Felt awful from about 3-4 miles onward. Heart was red-lining at a normally comfortable pace & legs felt like lead.
