flyingfinn Excellent race, good course and organisation. A pleasure to have no traffic to think about. Just a shame that I really needed to get in a car at about 8 miles when my wheels became somewhat detached :-( Would do it agaiin though. Dark Peak Fell Runners Club 1:13:37 1:23:01 1:26:59 70.99

Super Kev Much slower than last year, but the conditions were much more adverse. Although can't complain as I do love this race, even the first four mile on the road down to the park. And counted as the sixth man of the winning team RRR. Buckingham & Stowe RC 1:24:03 1:25:48 1:26:53 66.74

Rich963 First half for a while - under 1 30 would be great....
Update - not a great one. Didn't go at 100% as have had a bad cold all this week, but still a bit disappointed. Splits were: 7.49 7.10 6.33 6.53 7.12 7.16 7.29 7.47 7.42 7.07 7.24 7.40 6.44 0.51 which doesn't look too bad, but was never threatening PB pace. Very well organised event though and can't blame Worksop Harriers for the weather... Stilton Striders RC 1:28:39 1:34:01 1:30:00 1:35:44 60.56

Clarky Entered. Part of the club challenge so, i shall be giving it everything. Feel in good shape now but, i am on holiday the week before and won't be doing any running. The holiday took a little more out of me than i expected. Still happy with the result. North Derbyshire RC 1:30:44 1:30:44 1:32:00 1:34:37 61.29

Sonneur37 Another great outing in Clumber Park. It did get extraordinarily wet at one point. Found myself in a bunch of well focussed individuals for most of the second half who seemed to pull me along so thanks whoever you were. Rolling downhill to the finish was joyous! Maybe I *will* get back to sub 1:30 before drawing the pension after all... Unaffiliated 1:35:30 1:35:30 1:38:00 1:35:30 66.30

Cavey Its a club Grand Prix race so will be going balls out. No idea about time, in theory I should be in good nick by then, but don't know what the course is like. Sub 2hrs would be nice! UPDATE: Really pleased with that run, enjoyed almost all of it apart from around 11 - 12 miles, but I knew once I got through that the last mile was all downhill. Not a PB, but i'm getting closer!! Sombrero Wow. Went way better than expected. Cracking race - my 2nd fastest time and makes me think that my PB is actually reachable!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Clowne RRC 1:37:57 1:47:25 1:52:00 1:47:25 53.98

Durbat Another attempt at the illusive new years resolution:
Missed again but still managed a PB by a few seconds. Wasn't really prepared for this one but enjoyed it all the same including the downpour! Wingy did a good job round mile 8 -9 pulling me along, Mick and Phil always an inspiration. Spotted IanM, Heidi and Su2 as well, you were looking good at 6 miles Su, easy easy easy.
Only Clowne left now for this years sub 1:45 new years resolution otherwise I'll have to roll it over for a third year! Killamarsh Kestrels RC, Tickhill Velo 1:46:51 1:46:51 1:45:00 1:46:51 58.76

toddytyke In the end I was happy to finish my first half marathon. It's a long way. My legs felt a little banged up at the end and I finished with cramp in my right leg which saw me get over the line like Douglas Barder. I could have made it in 2:15:00 without that final hiccup. For my next half I will do specific training, which means using any other races around the time as fast training runs. Barnsley Harriers 1:58:13 2:18:52 2:10:00 2:18:52 44.47
chemistry Enjoyed it - except the driving rain in the middle. Was hoping for better but had recently missed 2 weeks running due to illness and ofsted inspection (excuses.. excuses) Unaffiliated 2:02:04 2:28:38 2:17:00 2:28:38 43.95
