About this parkrun
Three laps on mainly tarmac paths but with a good portion on grass each lap, fairly flat. Prone to puddles in wet weather. Can be crowded.Goofee 21st Dec 2018
Woodley is a 3 lap course. Some sections can be tight, but if you are a slower runner you donget extra encouragement when the ‘fast’ runner pass you.
Great venue, amazing team and lush after-run coffee.

70 % Tarmac 25 % grass. One very small incline. Goes round the park 3 times. Park divided by a small lake in a central position that you run by 2 times on each lap. A nice war memorial that becomes a mini roundabout.

3 laps on tarmac paths and round a pond and playing field. Paths are a bit narrow and watch out for lapping runners. Areas do get waterlogged in winter, good for washing of shoes on the last lap! Great on site cafe. Cheap parking next to Lidl

Round and round quite a small park on narrow paths and the football field. Quick course in the summer. Not one for those looking for aesthetics though!

3 laps around playing fields and tarmac paths, a little slippy under foot if wet. A no headphones rule due to some narrow paths. Lots of facilities nearby.

3 laps of suburban park. Half tarmac, half playing fields. Road shoes in all but the muddiest conditions! Very flat other than the bump coming up from the pond. Susceptible to flying footballs in season.

3 laps around Woodford park. Half tarmac, half grass. Pretty fast and flat (slight hill run 3 times). Can get congested, but inforce a keep left rule. Gets muddy during the winter, then trail shoes are advised.
