GAZGIB Started off slow & steady as my piriformis was aching and I didn't fancy the hills. But after the last hill tanked it for the remainder of the course and surprised myself with my quickest time of the three races.

Waveydavey It had been raining all day and the course was muddier than the previous two races. Considering that and having spent the weekend on a stag do I was reasonably pleased with my performance if not with the time. I finished in my highest position in this event this year and there were over 200 finishers - which I believe is a first for this event.

A friend measured the coarse on his detailed orienteering map and concurs with Woj that the course distance is 5.9 miles. Reading Roadrunners 32:58 33:10 42:42 42:51 50.88
