funkin If positive splits are a good thing, then I'm a champion! This is another way of saying the second half was tougher than the first! Ranelagh Harriers, The Stragglers RC 38:55 38:55 40:55 65.68

Heavyweight Did this in 56 minutes last year - looking for 3 minute improvement this year. The long drag up the hill for the last 3km is a real lung buster. **** Update **** Really pleased with my time & felt comfortable all the way round. Glorious weather - a real 'good to be alive' morning!! UKnetrunner 44:39 46:18 51:19 56.18
JPK minute and a half off last years time. So a good result. Reading Joggers 41:59 42:06 45:45 58.94
Kew 1. 45 min slower than last year - not as bad as I thought though. 3rd year run on the trot and 1st year I've had to walk up the hill! Reading Joggers 45:40 49:20 52:13 58.24
Kirsty A new race for me and what a treat it was. Lovely countryside, lovely pigs, and er, lovely hills! Team Bushy 46:52 47:53 49:04 61.98

Mr Chops Did this once before in 2003. One of my worst ever 10k times. As far as I can recall it was very uphill in the later half. Definitely NOT a PB course!! ==== Better than my 2003 race anyway. Lots of walking over the last 3k but when I was running it was often faster than those around me who were pacing themselves to run the whole hill. Unaffiliated 41:27 42:51 47:00 46:52 57.20

Pov Heard quite a bit about this course....don't like the sound of the last 5k.
Missed most of last year with niggles of one thing and another so my time will be interesting.
A race of 2 halves....the first 5km was downhill...21.31..great, but the 2nd 5km... I done me plums...that hill just went on and on ! I'm chuffed with the time , I knew it was going to be tough...Offical time 47.59 Unaffiliated 44:19 44:52 48:00 47:59 59.13

The Outlaw Fast downhill first half (2K@7:00, 5K@ 17:55). Hard second half with 2 long hills. The final hill was continuous from 7K to near the finish - the toughest hill I have ever faced in any race! Time irrelevant on such a course - I ran second half 2:49 slower than first half. Held position well after first 1k and managed to pass several runners in final 2K. Delighted to win V50! Ranelagh Harriers 36:25 38:00 37:55 38:44 78.22
