HACC Matt Time is from my watch as I was one of the many, including a fetchie clad runner that were patiently waiting at the start board only to reach the start to find we we're a bit late! Impressed with the crowds and drinks, and traffic control on route. Not sure about the loop around the sponsors car park, but guess have to make up the distance somewhere. Duke of Drayton This will be my first half marathon! I'll be running for Vasculitis charities please F mail me if you would like more info or if you are able to sponsor me. Thanks.... The run went well and I came in under my target of 2 hours. Unfortunately, my training has not been up to scratch lately due to family commitments so I paid for it with my calfs as usual. Even with the crowd support I felt the run lacked a little atmosphere perhaps it was the uninspiring Wolves back roads or the grey weather. Don't think I'll be doing my first full marathon in wolves I don't fancy the idea of another lap of the same. ifor Drizzle and little bit of rain. Very urban course with roads that weren't closed. Organisation wasn't amazing. Took it easy and really enjoyed it. upsy daisy It was a little congested at the start, probably because it was a change from last year and we weren't sure what was happening. At least it stopped me going too fast for the first mile. Great to see so much support considering the dreadful weater - shame some people still had to drive in areas where the roads were closed.
