Girlie I set a new Pb. Shame I couldn't go under the hour (again) Good race, although the hills were very hard. I was happy with my performance as I managed to keep going at a steady pace all the way round. Should have earned lots of points to all those who had a wager on me! Nice medal:) Lonely Goat RC 57:56 1:01:25 1:02:00 1:01:25 49.99

Guesty Lovely course and enjoyable race. Got my timing muddled in my head - was working out splits to 45 mins instead of 50. Outcome was a new PB. Must try to get confused more often. Knew my lack of maths skills would work to my advantage one day! Unaffiliated 46:54 46:54 50:00 46:54 57.63
HellsBells My first 10k race. Hope I'll be faster than predicted, but been dogged by an ankle problem and training has been less than optimal. Now got a cold so even less running - debating pulling out.......

jude Hope to beat my time from 2 years ago by a minute or so, it's a week before milton keynes half which is my major target so won't kill myself but hope to sneak a pb!!
*************UPDATE**************
Sorry to all those who risked their credits - I guess I'm just not ready for that kind of speed yet! Still - best run for months, so although i'm very dissapointed it is actually quite a decent race time for me now. Ran with 'girlie' a little way - hope you did your PB! Also roadrunner who I didn't see but sent good luck vibes to. Hi to the fetchie I spoke to at the end :-) Unaffiliated 55:46 55:46 56:00 59:50 50.07

Metal Martin I thought this was a really hard race, it took me 5 miles to settle down to a steady pace, probably because us Fen Boys are not used to hills.

At half way I knew if I could keep going at a decent pace I had a great chance of a sub 50, the thought that 9 people had bet on me was also a big spur. So a new PB and I have probably moved closer to the top of the Most Improved table for 10k :-)

Chuffed to bits the heavy rain held off. Also thought it was pretty well organised. Thorney Running Club, Thorney RC 48:22 48:22 51:00 49:05 56.70

Definitely didn't like the hills - whoever decided to call it undulating should be shot ;o)

Peteb69 Great race through the safari park, hills not to bad and good surport from the marshalls.
Plus you get to drive around the park afterwards. 100 Marathon Club, Serpentine RC 38:06 43:30 50:00 46:29 57.82
