LBM Didn't quite hit my target (missed PB by 10 seconds), but still managed a course PB and came 2nd in Category :-) Nice to have a chat with brotherjohn who incidentally won the race in a cracking time. Well done! Pleased to see some familiar faces too from around the circuit and my own club. Wind was tough in latter stages of the race. Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) Doing this as part of marathon training as usual, this will be my 5thyear in a row :) Woke up with DOMS after a hard interval session on Friday, good job I wasn't aiming on racing this as it wouldn't have happened, as it was I needed an average pace of 7.38, managed 7.39 according to my garmin, however I did stop at a couple of water stations and mile 9-10 was hit with stomach cramps which slowed me up considerably and had an enforced 'pit stop' so actual time was slower.
