Steve72 Point to point race so wind strength and direction makes quite a difference. Last night wind was in your face for first couple of hundred yards as you ran towards the lighthouse. But then as you do a dog leg on to the sea front it was more or less behind you, so good conditions. Pleased with time, I think it's the fastest I've done this race. Just lost out in a sprint finish for somewhere around 8th, will have to check official results. Although I did warn the other runner as I was closing fast, didn't mind whether or not I beat him really, just wanted a fast finish. He was grateful though. Unaffiliated 18:00 17:39 74.30
