Ant1 Hope to break 1.30 but need to get a good start and not get baulked. Hot. this is quite a difficult course. Went off too fast and struggled. Broke PB for course. Does anybody know which has a more climbing Windsor or High Wycombe, or a way to find out? Unaffiliated 1:28:49 1:32:11 1:30:00 1:33:23 64.03

glbroo Conditions too hot for a PB & realised this early on. Pleased to get round really so can't complain & 261st not bad at all. Miles 11&12 caused my downfall, but did help someone to a marshall who was close on collapsing - some things are more important than personal times.
Grant said all along this was a bumpy course - he was right!!

Shellbo Far too hot to run. Who'd have expected it to be over 80 deg's at the end of September !!! Even the elite runners were 7 minutes slower than expected. So overall I was pleased to be only 2 mins outside my prediction. Unaffiliated 1:51:00 1:51:00 1:50:00 1:52:00 52.05

Ghengis It took me 2:15 minutes to do the 45 minute journey to windsor, I got there 15 minutes after the start of the race, on a plus side there was no queues for the loos and I also got to see the three races leaders.
Weaving around the back marker in the heat just about finished me off.
After all that I still had a great time well done too Windsor for another great event. Redhill Distict Royal Mail AC, Striders of Croydon AC 1:26:58 1:39:50 1:49:00 1:59:47 50.30
HB V Slow time. Very hilly and very hot. Tough course. Still not quite back to pace from Helsinki. Lots of work to do in the 5 weeks before Dublin!! Great course, and well marshalled. They need to sort out the car parking - what a nightmare, took us an hour and half to get out of the car park!! Unaffiliated 1:53:08 1:53:08 2:00:25 53.67
GAZGIB Hamstring held out remarkably well. But I felt pretty heavy legged and had a few niggles here and there. I struggled with the hills and heat a bit and fell behind my target in the last 3 miles. Bracknell Forest Runners 1:35:38 1:59:19 2:00:00 2:01:42 48.27

Fuzzy POST-RACE - Finished in one piece, but not under 2:10... good race though, nice course. Will return next year, hopefully fit and ready...

PRE-RACE - With a two month injury layoff, continuing calf problems and training not to going as planned - PB is very doubtful.
Still looking forward to Windsor, after the disappointment of last year. Will be happy to finish in one piece under 2:10. Sandhurst Joggers 1:43:20 1:59:56 2:05:00 2:19:25 41.70
