MarkC Enjoyed this one a lot. Nice day, great conditions, EXCELLENT cake stall! A little lonely out on the course at times, but then I quite like the solitude. Had my usual rough patch halfway round but managed to hold on for a PB. Sadly, this was the first race that gave me cause to suspect I had a knee problem - six months later I've finally got it sorted out with some orthotics. SparkyMark My first half marathon - great course and ideal conditions flat. Though it seemed insignificant the minor hill over the railway bridge was not welcome at 12.5 miles. Couple that with the massive blister on my foot, picked up after 6 miles I did not have a great run. Alchester RC (Bicester) 1:35:01 1:54:10 1:45:00 1:54:10 51.71
