Alanoia Fast, ouch! Should have bided my time instead of giving Martin a target for the last half mile. Points first, performance second! Stamford Striders 32:43 32:43 32:43 68.73

bjworld really pleased to get under the hour considering how hot it was. Overtook a couple of people coming up the hill so I wasn't last, and finished faster than I started. Unaffiliated 55:14 55:14 1:00:00 55:14 51.58

KatieB HIDEOUS. I really didn't enjoy the actual race at all. Met up with a few harriers at the start, lots of the speedy folk were there, the lovely Smile2 and 2 of my coaches. Did a warm up with coachMark and then bimbled down to the start with 2 of the *very* speedy male harriers. Then met Kinky who was running the race as a tempo. I kept the swaying plait in sight for as long as I could. :-) The sun came out at the start which wasn't in my plan, it was hot and more undulating than I expected. Mile 3 starts with a steep little incline which flattens out but is still uphill all the way to 4 miles. That was my slowest mile at 7.53. Ok, the last mile was the best mile in that i feel i actually ran it reasonably well. I pulled back to 7.13mm for the last, and felt really dizzy at the finish...I saw Kinky smiling at me through a haze and then couldn't find her again. I think it's a silver standard so I'm really happy with that. But gah and yuck....I wanted to walk and then lie down under all of the shadey trees from about 1 mile onward. Lol...I'll call it a learning experience I think. Bedford Harriers AC 37:20 37:20 37:20 65.39
KinkyS Last minute decision to do this as a tempo run on tired legs. Considering the heat and the slight undulations I'm well pleased with the time, and a good strong finish overtaking several people for a 6:57 fastest final mile got the job done. Official time recorded - Garmin time was 36:07! Todmorden Harriers & AC 33:47 33:47 35:57 66.36

Smile2 rubbish.... but brilliant as no appropriate prep - really enjoyed it! but 3 and a half hours of gym work and 5 miles ran the day before meant I was pooped - but great race! - omg better Bedford Harriers AC, Milton Keynes AC 39:44 39:44 41:23 59.99

Vitalstatistix 'twas a hard 4th mile...and where did all the lightning quick MV40s appear from...and why?...and the provisional times were 6 seconds out from 4th place downwards...so go back and check your official time ! Bedford Harriers AC 27:39 27:39 28:15 28:28 77.17
