#runningman 🏃 Before race comment.....PB of 42.49 but on a much flatter course. Will be happy with anything under 45 mins on what I am told is a really hilly course as there will be other better courses to get a new PB. This will give me a record of 5 out of 5 races with 3 to go for this years East Midlands Grand Prix. So tonights focus is to keep up my 100 per cent record in these races rather than an highly unlikely PB. Post race comment.......Acheived sub 45 mins as expected but my old knee problems kicked in after 5k which meant I ran well below my best of 42.49 as I sensibly took my foot off the gas so as not to make it worse. Nog Some tough hills but went very well - turns out that I very much like long downhill finishes! 58 seconds off my PB. Unaffiliated 47:16 47:16 47:00 47:16 56.37
Runningheva Raced hard on Sunday so no predictions. Feel rather tired and it as a hilly run so doubt I will get a PB. UPDATE As expected rather a slow time, very wet underfoot in places, but the rain had stopped by the time the race started. More hilly than I remembered.
