WillBill I had been aiming for a sub-5 hours, having done 5:35 in 2005. However, everything just clicked on the day, felt good, weather just about right, fit after two weeks in the Swiss Alps. Slight bad patch between Esk Hause and Scafell Pike, possibly because of poor choice of food on the way up to the Hause. Will know better next time. Great day out, fine atmosphere on the route, plenty of support (for a fell race). Fife AC 4:18:50 4:18:50 4:59:00 4:18:50 38.88
