alisterrobson Really enjoyed this! Mainly on cinder paths round the country park. Little bit of a walk from Asda car park to the registration and start point, and again after the finish, but this didn't bother me. More Mile T Shirt and bizarrely shoe wipes! Accurate 5 miles - was bang on by my Garmin. Weather seemed hotter than the 10 degrees my car said it was. FERC 33:38 39:10 41:00 39:10 54.91

Screeners Haven't done a 5 mile race before so any time will be a PB. Would hope to do it in less then 50 mins. *AFTER RACE* fantastic race, thrilled with my time, didn't think I could do it this fast. Lovely scenic race, 2 laps which is mentally hard going but even that didn't seem too bad. Organisation great, everything seemed to run smoothly. Only thing I would mention is that the finish line seemed to almost appear from nowhere and not having done the race before, it kind of took me by surprise! I thought I still had about 1/4 mile to go and suddenly it was 100 metres away so my finish sprint was very late - if I'd known how close the finish was I could have pushed on for my finishing surge earlier.
