Should Av Run Quicker ***DO NOT BET ON THIS RACE. IT'S NOT A PB COURSE AT ALL**** ***UPDATE*** Decided to run at a steady pace for the 1st half which only included the hill once. Managed 19.30 for 5k. Suffered up the hill 2nd time around but felt pretty good 3rd time and managed to increase the pace so tactics where OK. Didn't go flat out for a reat time, overall would have been hapier with a sub 40min but not too bad considering it was hilly. Stockport Harriers & AC 35:27 38:08 40:00 40:16 68.57

ellew I don't know my exact time yet. What a race - that hill - and having to go up it 3 times - now that's just cruel. Really enjoyed it though, even all the mud and water. Was amazed at the number of marshalls and thought they were the friendliest bunch I've ever met. Just got beaten by two 12 year old girls - the Radcliffes of the future. Well done girls, I am shamed! Karate Chop A really hard and challenging course. Friendly marshalls and well organised race. The hill is a killer and you have to do that 3 times!!! Pleased with my time. It is slower than my more recent 10Km runs but if you had seen the course you would be thinking the same. Chorlton Runners 54:57 1:01:55 1:10:02 42.43
