brotherjohn Pretty tough race with 3 very big climbs, also muddy and windy this year. Like I say, I am definitely a better runner on the road rather than off, but I do OK at these things and hopefully I will get stronger at them. 6th place, 1st MV50 and member of the first team, got some nice cheese and beer :) Dorset Doddlers 1:13:34 71.14

SpeedySteve 3 main climbs coupled with many smaller ascents that test you anyway. Varied terrain of course makes footwear choice not obvious but generally off road shoes are the best, not spikes as there is at least 2 miles of road. Definite sense of achievement with this run, not your usual 10 miles ! Wimborne AC 1:17:39 1:14:11 64.13
